Creamy Spinach Spaghetti
I love cooking... I always loved cooking... and I thought why not share it a bit with you guys ... at home I don't get a lot of feedback since my daughter is less than adventurous in the food area ... I am hoping that one day she will be more open to tasting new food ... and this often results in me cooking food that I really don't find interesting or fun ... and I miss cooking my ideas ... so I decided that I can cook what I like ... then I will share it here hihi ... I hope you will like it and maybe some will get inspired and do your own versions !
So here I give you my recipee for Creamy Spinach Spaghetti ...
Ingredients
2 small shallots ( finely chopped)
3-5 drops of toasted sesameoil
a bit of butter
150-200 grams of baby spinach ( fresh small leaves)
125-200 ml of double cream
100 grams of creame cheese
25 grams of freshly finely grated parmasan cheese
salt & pepper
nutmeg ( freshly grated nutmeg is best) but as you see I only had the powdered nutmeg at hand
How to
pour the oil in your in your pot, add a nice lump of butter let it bubble up
ad your finely chopped shallots, let them soften up a bit and brown slightly,
stir in your double cream, when your double cream is bubbly
add the cream cheese and the finely grated parmasan cheese,
when the cheeses are stirred in and melted into your sauce season with salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste
add your baby spinach leaves ( reserve a few for decoration)
in 2 minutes time the spinach is done
add your boiled spaghetti to the sauce and mix it well
Plate and decorate with the spinach leaves ... you can also grate a bit of extra nutmeg over and a bit of parmasan...
It is a simple dish .... easy to make and beautiful to eat !
