I dont eat bread everyday and when I buy it I want to have a nice healthy meal. Yesterday I bought some vegetables and Whole Wheat Bread. I decided to make the Tunisian grilled Salad. I love it and we use it as a starter, but for me it was the main dish :)
We usually serve it with flaked tuna, olives, and chopped hard boiled eggs.
Ingredients
- 5 Large green peppers
- 3 Tomatoes
- 1 Onion
- 6 cloves garlic
- Salt
- Olive Oil
- Ground Coriander (optional)
- Black Pepper (optional)
Step 1
Grill the vegetables on a grill or in the oven. If you dont have these options, you can steam them.
Step 2
Let the vegetables cool and remove all the skins as well as the seeds from tomatoes and peppers.
Step 3
You can chop them together or use your blender. They should be small chunks and not a sauce in case you use the blender or food processor.
Step 4
Add salt and olive oil. Thats the way I love to eat it, but you can add black pepper or coriander if you want.
