15. Assamese thali
A traditional Assamese thali is full of herby flavors. With rice as one of the leading ingredients, the dish is filled with Masor Tenga (curry fish) and Khar, a dried banana skin vegetable preparation and a meat dish. Also, the famous Aloo Pitika (mashed potatoes) consists of boiled eggs and mustard oil.
