Ok people , i have really special recipe for today . It's a dish made with river crayfish caught by me by hand ...yes by hand don't laugh . It's Sunday so we need something special , by my wife's orders :)
I wanna say something about this particular species , it lives in rivers and lakes that are clean and unpolluted .It is a finest edible crayfish . Crayfish is an important part of traditional Scandinavian culture, including the crayfish party or kräftskiva, a feast to mark the end of summer . We are bit early but what a heck i wanna eat.
So without further words lets begin .
For 2 person to have a GREAT feast you need :
- 20 to 25 crayfishes ( we used 30 )
- 0,1 dl of extra virgin olive oil
- 0,1 dl of soya oil
- 30 gr of garlic
- 30 gr of parsley
- salt , pepper , and main thing 0,30 to 0,50 l of some good white wine
Before you start cooking you have to check that all crayfishes are alive , DO NOT USE dead ones .
Heat up cooking pot ,add Crayfishes ,add oil ,add garlic ,add parsley ,salt ,pepper ,and then pour wine ( 0,50 l ) .
Cook for 15 - 20 minutes ( depending of size and amount of wine ) , drink up rest of that 0,20 or 0,50 l of wine ( depends of size of the bottle ) bam bam and you are done .
Serve that dish , and enjoy .
