I've posted other cake sets about certain designs. This one is a little more sophisticated and arguably doesn't exactly cater to a kiddie character or something that a kid would love by its visual design. It was mean to mimic more of the look of a lightly frosted pumpkin or carrot style cake.
Very lightly frosted as you can see, but sometimes less is more and you can see that it is actually a pumpkin spice cake.
Of course you have the more subdued caked that is for the child to just lunge his hands into. People take photos of this and admittedly it can be funny. I know I did this with my own kids and still have the memories and pictures, probably video too.
The overall, but not overdone presentation at the table.
Again, not your typical kiddie venue. Pretty nice place actually.
And of course, instead of those party favors from the dollar store that most people end up throwing out, kids and adults were treated with one more dessert. A S'More to take with you with the creative phrasing on the sign saying "Take S'More With You"
I thought this was nicely done and a nice change for us adults who usually end up at a Chuck E Cheese or some crazy place of mass havoc with kids running everywhere that aren't even part of the party. This was a nice upscale change.
