Soooooo much good content today that I found myself getting yelled at by my wife that I had been staring at my computer screen for over an hour. How could I have not? News of open source for Steemit, count me in! Great back story and write up by who I had never read before, now following.
had me cracking up with his personal 'intro to crypto' story (now following as well) and I'm prettttttyyyyy sure I was supposed to start on dinner a while ago now. But since my wife is wrapped up in one of her crummy shows on the iPad, I'll quickly introduce my newest creation...I haven't come up with a name yet since I don't feel 'burger taco' or 'taco burger' quite fit the bill. So help me out on that end if you think of something.
I had a left over cheeseburger (also had chopped onion in it too, love me some onion) from grilling the night before. We had run out of buns and I didn't feel like cutting it up with a knife and fork all prim and proper. So I cranked up my gas stove top and started heating up my cast iron skillet. Threw on the burger early to heat it up a bit and cracked an hour-old back yard chicken egg to fry on the side. I then grabbed two soft shell flour tortillas, threw a slice of muenster cheese on top, covering half of both shells (as to 'glue' them together), and slapped em on my cast iron skillet to a nice soft brown finish.
Making the best of what you have is sometimes the best way to live. I can attest it was one of the better things I have come up with culinary wise in my life. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
