On this occasion I would like to share some knowledge about how to cook the genjer stir fry, anchovy, and tempeh.
Genjer flower is my favorite vegetable because of its unique flavor and texture of fibrous, very tasty if in if it becomes stir-fried with teri goreng and tempe.
**materials that need to be prepared is**
- 3 bunch of flower ganjer, looking for a young and his flower is still soft. Remove the bottom of the stem if hard. Then cut as long as 5 cm. Then wash thoroughly and drain.
- 1group of fresh anchovy, fried to dry
- 1 tempe size 15 × 15 cm, then cut like a 1 × 1 cm dice, fry until cooked.
After that we sprinkle the spices let it taste delicious.
**Seasoning**
- 5 pieces of curly red chilli, thinly sliced slices
- 4 pieces of cayenne pepper, thinly sliced slices
- 5 pieces of red onion, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 3 bay leaves
- 2 segments galangal, flatten
- 2 segments of ginger, sliced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- ½ tbsp oyster sauce
- ½ tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- ¼ tsp pepper powder
- 2 tbsp oil for sauteing
**How to make**
Saute spice iris, bay leaf, ginger, and galangal. Stir and cook until fragrant and seasoning looks ripe. Then enter the flower genjer, stir until the spice mixed well, then cover the pan, and cook until the flowers look wilted.
After the genjer flowers look wilted, we just put tempe and teri goreng, and also the remaining other spices. Then stir during cooking. If the genjer flower has wilted, and begins to feel soft. Then we lift and sauté the genjer flower is ready to serve with warm white rice.
Tips
Make sure first if the genjer flowers that will be in though really young, his sign when the flower buds in the push was still very soft. Young flowers like this will give a sweet taste, while the old will feel hard and bitter.
Genjer flowers will very much shrink when in cooking, so make sure you buy it in large quantities for the portion of some people.
