This is similar to the pancake post I posted the other day, only with bananas and walnuts
What you will need:
1 1/2 cups flour
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup buttermilk
1 egg
3 tablespoons melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 banana, whole
1 banana sliced
1/4 cup crushed walnuts
Directions:
In a food processor or blender, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
Add milk, buttermilk, egg, vanilla, whole banana and melted butter; mix until smooth.
Transfer mix to a bowl and add the walnuts, mixing until completely incorporated.
In a medium heated pan or griddle pour 1/4 cup mix in and brown cakes on both sides, top with sliced bananas and serve.
