Hello dear Steemians, today I am sharing a recipe which is very good for health and it is also really good in taste, recipe name is mix vegetable rice (vegetable pulao).
it is a traditional rice recipe which has good taste and color, you can see from the name this recipe is made from different vegetables, most of you know that I love eating meat but sometimes you have to try vegetables too because these vegetables are really good for health and these vegetables protect you from different diseases well it is really a simple recipe which takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes. While cooking this you should kept in mind that if it is over cooked even for few minutes, the whole recipe will be spoiled.
People eat rice in every corner of the world and most of the people eat it almost everyday in the dinner. I'm not going to say that eating rice is good for health but if you eat it with with good things then there is no problem eating rice like if you eat it with fish and if you eat it with vegetables and other things like that. but I recommend you to eat the rice two or three times a week more than that is really not good for health.let's take a look at the ingredients in the recipe.
Ingredients
Rice 1 kg, green peas half kg, potatoes 3, carrot 3, cabbage half, bell pepper 5 to 6, tomatoes 2 to 3 chopped, green pepper 6, salt as required, onion chopped 4 to 5, turmeric 1 tsp, all spices 1 tsp, bay leaves 2, cumin seeds 1 tsp, Coriander leaves, ginger and garlic paste 1 tsp each, red pepper powder 1 tsp, oil 1 cup.
Instructions
Heat oil in a pan put onions in it and fry it until the colour is brownish then add tomatoes in it and cook it for 3 to 4 minutes when tomatoes is cooked then add all the other spices and salt in it.now add all the vegetables in it makes it well and cook it for 5 to 10 minutes.after that put the rice in it and add 1 to 2 glass of water in it and cook it until water is dry out and rice is cooked.now garnish with coriander leaves.
