Hey hey, Steemians! I believe you have ever tasted satay. It's popularly known as Asian food. You will easily find satay food truck by the side road everywhere in Asia especially Indonesia. There are a lot of satay variant. There beef satay, chicken satay, lamb, octopus and many more. This time, I made lamb satay with peanut sauce and Soto.
The key which makes satay taste good is in the marinated process. The spice that used when mixed with the beef or lamb.
I think lamb has stronger smell. So putting lime and spice more will reduce the smell of lamb.
You'll need:
- 300 gr Lamb, cut into dice
- Lime juice
- Salt
- Soy sauce
- 3 tbsp cooking oil
- Bamboo sticks
Grinded Spice:
- 6 garlic
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1/2 tsp coriander
- 1/2 tsp pepper powder
- 1/2 tsp roasted cumin
Instructions:
- Mix the lamb with lime juice, salt, soy sauce and cooking oil.
- Add in grinded spice then stir thoroughly and chill for 15 minutes.
- Stick the marinated lamb with the bamboo stick.
- Grill.
- Serve with peanut sauce, soto soup and warm rice.
