What is your favorite cake? I believe I hear different names. Cake, there are a lot of delicious and different kind of cakes that we eat in every different occasions. Eating cake always complete the day. Perhaps, one cake that maybe mostly people eat is Sponge cake. Why? because it is easy to make and it can combine with different topping and jam and can be a birthday cake base. Want to try? Check out this recipe.
Ingredients:
- 4 white eggs
- 4 yolks
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 120 gr sugar
- 120 gr flour
- 30 gr vegetable oil
- 40 gr milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
Instructions:
- Beat the egg white and lemon juice in high speed, add sugar gradually until form firm peak.
- Add in egg yolks and whisk or you can use spatula, use folding technique.
- Shift flour gradually and whisk thoroughly.
- Add in oil, milk and vanila essence and whisk well.
- Pour the batter in mold.
- Bake 150 C for 30 minutes.
- Top with buttercream and cheese (or use other topping)
- Serve
It is so puff and cottony. Yumyum!
