Celery ... I think everyone knows this vegetable and overestimate its usefulness is very difficult.
But not everyone likes to eat it raw, and children especially .. Therefore, I decided to "hide" celery in other food, for example, in meatballs. In the end, everyone is full and happy))
Today I offer my delicious version of meatballs with celery baked in the oven.
So, we need:
Minced meat - 1kg (I took 500gr of pork and 500gr of minced meat from turkey)
Celery 2-3 stems
Onion - 1 piece
Rice for stuffing - 1/2 cup
Garlic - 3-4 cloves
Tomato paste
Eggs - 2 pieces
Salt to taste
I have a mixture of herbs Italian, but you can use condiments to your liking.
The first thing we'll do is to rinse the rice and cook it until half-ready.
In the mince we add eggs, salt and add spices.
Chop finely onions, garlic. On a large grater we rub celery and add all this to the stuffing.
Add rice to the stuffing and mix well.
Take 3 tablespoons of ketchup or tomato paste and dilute with two glasses of water. You can add seasonings.
We make small meatballs and put them in a baking dish. And we fill in the diluted
tomato paste.
Cover the meatballs with foil and put them in a preheated oven at 200C. We bake ~ 45-50 minutes.
15 minutes before the end of cooking, remove the foil.
And here our useful meatballs are ready !! They are incredibly tasty and juicy !!
On the side dish, as an option, you can serve rice.
