One of my favorite place to go is Prai Raya a crab restaurant in Soi 8 (BTS Station Nana).
You could combine this with a trip to Terminal 21 for a little shopping trip. The place is originating in Phuket, and it opened its branch in Bangkok too. Other great places like Khua Kling Pak Sod and Baan Ice are not located this close to Sukhumvit Road.

Why do i recommend and keep going back to the restaurant? I like the southern Thai cuisine and especially this restaurants crab curry i value highly. They put huge amounts of crab meat into their crab curry. For this price its super good value!
They are offering famous desserts too, i ate it too fast before realizing i should have taken a picture ;)
