Hi,Every one today also I come with very interesting and very very healthy recipe " SATHU MAVU URUNDAI or MILLETS HEALTH MIX LADDU".
Today I use millets as a main ingredient.Sometime in the distant past this was the most loved nibble of each child. Its one of the exceptionally solid pastry, when arranged as ladoo. This can even be made as porridge and was the staple eating regimen of newborn children at some point back. The sathumavu is set up by pounding 9 diverse millet. Has high protein content and nearly nil cholestrol. Presently a days some nourishment comapnies are thinking of the redymade sathu mavu blend, where you simply need to blend it with water/water and give it for kids. Its a magnificent interchange for cerelac and has zero additives.
Now we go to the recipe :-
INGREDIENTS. :-
For this recipe first we need SATHU MAVU MIX for this we need bellow ingredients and I give image of all millets also ,let's see
- Finger Millet /Ragi : 1 kg
- Pearl Millet /KAMBU : 1 kg
- Green Gram /Pachai payaru : 1/2 kg
- Red rice / Sigapu arisi : 1/4 kg
- Roasted gram /pottukadalai : 1/4 kg
- Foxtail millet /Thinai : 1/2 cup ( optional )
- Horse Gram /KOLLU. : 100 grm
- Barley : 100 grm
- Almonds : 25
- cashew nuts : 10
- peanuts : 100 grm
- cardamom : 6
- Dry ginger / sukku : 1 inch peace
SATHU MAVU mix : 1 cup
palm Jaggery ( karupathi ) : 1/3 cup
Ghee : 2 table spoon
Cardamom powder : 1/2 tea spoon
PREPARATION. :-
STEP 1 :-
For this first we prepared SATHU MAVU mix for this first we dry fry all ingredient one by one that I given for making sathu MAVU.
After that we wait until it cool down completely.
Now we make fine powder using griender or go for mill.
Now we get SATHU MAVU like this.
STEP 2 :-
Dry dish sathu maavu for 8-10 mins until the point when pleasant fragrance comes and shading somewhat changes,Set aside.Scrap palm jaggery.
STEP 3 :-
Then we measure palm jaggery and take it in a container, include next to no water say 2 tbsp only for the jaggery to drench well.
STEP 4 :-
Then we warmth it up, when it begins to get thick change off.Strain to impurities.See the consistency ought to be thick somewhat more slender than honey.Cool down the syrup.
STEP 5 :-
Then we take simmered flour in a blending dish, add the palm jaggery syrup.
STEP 6 :-
Then we blend well with a laddle.Heat ghee and add it.
STEP 7 :-
Presently blend well and let it rest until its sufficiently warm for you to deal with your hands.Then shape them into laddos.
Store in an impermeable holder and make the most of your ladoos.
Now the healthy and tasty SATHU MAVU URUNDI or MILLETS HEALTH MIX LADDU is ready to eat.
