As a Filipino, i was raised in a culture where almost all occasions are celebrated. We Celebrate birthdays which other Nationalities do not even prioritize.
Birthdays here in the Philippines is a celebration of oneself and a thanksgiving of ones life. And just like any other gathering and party here in the philipines, we celebrate it vibrantly and loud with our family and love ones.
We love to eat, so our celebrations are celebrated with lots of food and ofcourse, the cake should not be missing in action.

As for me, Birthday is one of my favorite part of the culture.
