Turns out beans have just as much protein as beef gram for gram, and they come with a lot of fibre as well as essential nutrients. Believe it or not, broccoli also matches protein levels in beef calorie for calorie.
And a ton of wet cement has the same weight as a ton of tofu.
Still you should definitely not eat one of them.
You cannot just compare protein to protein as you cannot compare the mass of vitamin to vitamin. They all consist of dozen different sorts.
Actually many vegetarian foodstuffs can be acquired without any harm to the plant or animal whatsoever.
Plants feel hurt too. I can't see how you can slice, tear or pound it without hurt. Anyway, with every salad comes an assortment of animals you either steal their home and/or food or you downright eat.
I applaud everyone who does vegetarian, but please, stop trying to convinve people with stuff that they A) already know and/or B) is simply wrong.
That only hurts the vegetarian movement.
And sorry if I sound harsh, I am just already way over my daily threshhold for idiocy and then I don't react well to inconsistancies.
