I think eating fish is very healthy in every season, but in the summer when you often visit the sea is the better season for eating a fresh fish .
WE need :
800 gr of octopus
600 grams of calamari
1 kg of clams
1 kg of mussels
300 g of shrimp
2 cloves of garlic
200 ml of extra virgin olive oil
1 lemon
1 parsley bouquet
salt
pepper
Begin our sea salad with the preparation of a marinade by placing in a big bowl chopped parsley, garlic cut into pieces, salt, pepper, lemon juice and oil, than Clean the calamari ( Buy them fresh!) by removing the interiors and put them under the running water for clean them better and deeply. Take off and wring the bags and remove the part with the eyes( ugh!)
Cook calamari in boiling water for about 15 minutes. Clean the octopus and boil it for 40 minutes!
Brush well the mussels and drain the clams leaving them for an hour or a little more in salt water.
Cook the clams and mussels in two separate frying pans. Cover and bake with a very high flame for a few minutes to let the mussels open the valves. As soon as the mussels and clams are ready, filter the seafood and keep them aside, and shell the molluscs by holding some shell to decorate the sea salad. I love using shells as decorations, they are so cool. Bring the shrimps, clean them and boil them for 7 minutes. Assembled all the fish and the seafood and here is the sea salad. If you like you can decorate it with some vegetables.
