Free, tasty food!
I plan on compiling a number of shorter videos into one larger project to help people get exposed to wild edibles. This is the first one that I'll be sharing, and it features the Eastern Redbud.
Found along the eastern part of the United States down into northern Mexico, it's a tasty member of the legume family that has edible flowers, leaves, and even pods. We are blessed with having a few on our property, and whether fresh or cooked, these flowers are a tasty treat. Bringing antioxidants and Vitamin C to the table, you should see what they look like sprinkled on a foraged salad!
