Please don't judge me, it's not what you think!
While using ketchup as an "all-purpose" condiment is not exactly wrong, I don't really bring it out at every meal, like some people... (ahem, .) So then, why do I have it with my taquitos at the moment?
IT'S GOT PEPPERS IN IT!
While visiting Pepper Palace with , I found this gem. Since peppers and tomatoes are some of the common main ingredients in salsas, I thought that this could work on many levels, even though it is named a "ketchup." Ghost peppers have become good friends of mine anyway, so I really like the "flavor."
Since it is such a tasty & spicy "salsa-like" sauce, it was a good fit with our taquitos tonight. A few things that I look forward to trying it with are hamburgers and french fries of course, but also things like steaks. I think it'll add a nice "hit" to a thick cut of meat fresh off the grill. We will see, but so far I am very happy with this purchase, and love the Ghost Ketchup! If you are interested in reading more about it, here is the official page from Pepper Palace.
