This is a tasty treat for sure.
We've been using the venison we harvested a number of ways so far. Jerky is one of my favorites, though. Last night I cut a lot of the thinner meat into long strips, and then marinated overnight with some seasonings. This morning I placed it in the oven on low heat, 170 degrees. After a few hours, the meat was dried and ready to be enjoyed and stored. Everyone is super excited about it, and we've been snacking on it already. We'll have to restrain ourselves and make it last.
