Have you ever had people over and forgot to prepare a dessert? This one is SO EASY and you need only 4 ingredients!
INGREDIENTS:
300 gr of puff pastry
150 gr of unsalted butter
4 tablespoons of salted caramel spread
vegetable oil for frying
DIRECTIONS
- Fold the puff pastry to half a cm thick.
- Cut in desired square or rectangle size.
- Fry at medium heat until golden. (If you want it a bit more "churro style" of flavor, after frying sprinkle the pockets with a mix of sugar and cinnamon)
- Let them cool.
FOR FILLING:
- Mix butter and salted caramel.
- Add into a piping bag with a piping tip.
- With a knife make a hole on the side of the puff pastry pocket and fill with caramel buttercream and enjoy!
You can use any filling you prefer to fill this pockets, for example, peanut butter buttercream inside and dip them in melted chocolate, or whipped chocolate ganache for the filling.
