This smoothie is a smorgasbord of everything good for you and good tasting. While I love the health benefits of a green smoothie, I will admit that I don’t love the taste. This smoothie still has the green veggies, but the fruit and the dash of maple syrup really mask the taste of the kale and spinach.
- 1 banana
- ½ avocado
- 1/4 cup frozen peas
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- ¼ cup blueberries
- ¼ cup blackberries
- ¼ cup greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons sprouts (I used clover and alfalfa)
- 1 tablespoon flax seed
- 1 tablespoon chia seed
- 1 tablespoon steel cut oats
- ½ teaspoon maple syrup
- 1 cup spinach
- 1 cup kale
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy
