Donut Friends,
Another donut that I wanted to try because I didn't know how long this one was going to be on the menu for and I quite liked the idea of a fudge brownie donut. I was hoping it was going to be different to other chocolate donuts from Krispy Kreme. It did sound rather tasty.

This donut looked chocolatey and decadent. The brownie pieces on top were a bit dry and not as chewy as I was expecting. The donut itself had a lot of filling that I like. I hate it when you get a donut and you almost finish the donut before you get to any centre. At first the donut did taste quite chocolatey but it did have some sort of weird aftertaste. I couldn't quite put my finger on the taste and I didn't get much fudgy flavour either. This would have been a nice donut if it didn't have that unusual taste left in my mouth.
It was only after I finished this donut I found out it was vegan. I was telling my husband how the flavour started off really nice with a deep chocolate flavour but was left with this unknown taste in my mouth. That's when he told me it was vegan. I'm not against vegan food at all. In fact I think it's a good thing. I'm pretty sure this taste had something to do with a vegan ingredient. I'm not vegan myself, but if I was, I would be very happy with this donut. However, I think I would stick to the Chocolate Dreamlike if I did fancy a chocolate donut.
Vegan Friendly Donut.
