I started my hydroponic journey in November 2016. I watched a TON of Youtube videos before I got started. Setup was super easy and I highly recommend getting into it.

I started off with lettuce because it is one of the easiest, if not the easiest, plant to grow hydroponically.

This wont be a tutorial, but more of the time-lapse start to finish, to give you an idea of how long lettuce takes. After planting the seeds, I had to do virtually zero work.

The LED grow light is rated for 300 watts but uses around 150. This translates to about $3-$4 a month in electricity costs a month, which is negligible for the amount of lettuce you get. Enough rambling, here and the images, enjoy!
