This morning I attended a party of my cousin. All her children came home to attend. One son from Manila, another son from Mindanao and a daughter from Canada. Her eldest daughter is with her.
Her son from Mindanao brought a new kind of sweets or snack. I forgot if it was called "tinadtad" or Tadtad" Those terms literally mean chop finely or just chopped up.
I thought it was soft. But it is actually crispy and has just enough sweetness. It looked like the fine noodles rolled and deep fried. But she said it was rice that was grind finely maybe added some sugar and it is wet. She said that there is a big wok and they use coconut oil to fry it. Then they pass the rice mixture thru a strainer and it comes out thin. Then as soon as it hits the oil they shape it in anyway they want. Could be in rolls like this, round and flat or balls. Then they remove it immediately.
When you bite it, it is crispy and a little sweetness.
I want to learn how they make this. It is good, not only in looks but in taste too.

STEEMIT DIVERSIFY PINAS - we maybe only 20 but we are strong and loyal to each other. We are hoping there will be more members soon. Or maybe there are some whose badges have not been made yet.
It is not in the quantity but the quality!
