In this post I want to share you one of favourite foods in Aceh. It's named "Gulai Pliek Chue". Wua, the name was so unique for the stranger, isn't?. :D
This food is a traditional food of Aceh. Made from combination of vegetables and "chue" (in Aceh) or "small snail" (in English) as the main menu. That cooked with some Acehnese flavours (Pliek = kind of food made from dry cocounut) and coconut milk.
For some Acehnese people, this food is difficult to cook. So, there is an alternative for someone who want to try this food. This special food, now can be found in this restaurant named "Warung Kaki Kulu". This restaurant located in foot-hill of Kulu, Great Aceh capital.
In this restaurant we can find two kind of food as main menu, it is "Gulai Pliek Chue" (Snail Curry) and Hoasted Fish. This two of food is so delicious and so worth to taste it!

How about the price? It is not too expensive. We only have to pay about idr 10.000/portion of Chue Curry and idr 30.000/pieces of hoasted fish.
Beside the delicious food, this restaurant also serve a comfortable place. It is suitable for people to get relax of a long trip with their friends or family. The restaurant is a classic-woody building, that very match with the forest scenery.
Through of the trip, there is no much we can find the restaurant like this. So this is why the "Chue" restaurant is more special then other restaurant around here.
