This Fall my gf and I went hiked portions of the Camino del Norte and one of our favorite parts was all the amazing food that various parts of Spain had to offer. Here are some photos of the amazing pinchos (pintxos in the Basque language) we had while at the beginning of the trail through Basque Country. Called tapas in other parts of Spain, pinchos are little bite sized pieces of food, often on a small slice of baguette, that you can have several of between meals or as a meal. In some parts of spain you can get one free with a meal but in San Sebastian they tend to have these bars where they will have rows and rows of all kinds and you just take a plate and fill it up. Heaven.
