Hey Guys! If you have recently switched over to a vegan lifestyle (or are thinking about it) you may have faced some challenges around what you can eat. You’re not the only one, like me, veganism has definitely had it’s ups and downs. In a society that puts meat and dairy products in almost everything it can sometimes be challenging to make sure you get enough of what you need throughout the day. That’s why I wanted to share some of my meal ideas with you. They’re so easy to make, super fast and filling. Vegans need to snack too! But you don't have to be vegan to try out these dishes!
Vegan Pita Pizza
Ingredients
Pita
Tomato sauce/ pasta sauce/ pizza sauce
Daiya Mozzarella and/or Cheddar Cheese shreds (it’s vegan)
Veggies (I like bell peppers, olives and spinach)
Pre-heat oven to 275 or 300 degrees. Chop up your veggies. With a spoon, spread a dollop of tomato sauce evenly over the pita. Sprinkle some cheese shreds. Toss those veggies on top. Pop in the oven for about 5 mins (it might be a bit more or less depending how you like it). Let cool and devour.
