Geplak Jakarta (Betawi)
Betawi Geplak Materials:
- 500 grams of brown sugar
- 200 grams of sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- 500 ml of water
- 500 grams of rice flour, roasted
- 250 grams of grated coconut, roasted
- 5 tbsp roasted rice flour, to sprinkle the pan.
Geplak Betawi, is a typical cake from jakarta that is always there at the time of the event / special day
How to Make Geplak Betawi:
Mix sugar, salt, and water. Boil until boiling and thickened. Lift, set aside.
Mix the rice flour and roasted coconut in a large bowl. Stir well. Pour sugar water.
Prepare Stick size 18 x 18 x 3 cm. sprinkle with rice flour. Pour the dough into it, then solidify.
Bake in the oven for 30 minutes until geplak ripe and dry. Lift, chill.
Remove from Loyang, cut into Geplak Betawi according to taste.
Geplak Betawi ready to eat.
