So you feeling a little rough, perhaps tired and a bit rundown. It might be from a few too many the night before or not, either way this juice is my goto "Jump Start the Day" blend.
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 Ribs Celery
- 2 Carrots
- 1 Red Apple
- 1 Green Apple
- 1 Beet
- 1/2 Cucumber
- 1/2 Lemon
- 1 inch piece of Ginger
Wash, leave the skins on, and cut into pieces that will fit your juicer or blender.
This blend is a very good and potent detoxifying cocktail. Here is a rundown of the benefits of each ingredient aside from being rich in vitamins and minerals.
- Celery - A natural diuretic that supports weight loss. Great for the lung and kidney.
- Carrot - Great source of antioxidants. Helps fight liver and bladder problems as well as asthma and arthritis.
- Apple - Promotes digestion and weight loss. Promotes healthy heart function and detoxes the intestines.
- Beet - A strong blood cleanser. Promotes healthy liver and bladder functions. Helps fight fatigue.
- Cucumber - High water content. Helps to maintain a healthy blood pressure.
- Lemon - Skin has anti-cancer properties. Helps fight bacterial poisoning and aids in digestion.
- Ginger - Great for the digestion system. Helps with nausea and respiratory colds.
Use the juicing method of your choice, I prefer the Omega.
Super easy to use and clean-up is a breeze. I can clean this in about 2-3 minutes after use. To me that is the most important feature. I have had juicers in the past that were an absolute nightmare to clean which led to not using them much. The Omega is awesome!
