Boy do I have a delicious, dreamy, creamy "Nacho Cheese Sauce" that isn't Nacho Cheese Sauce. Yes, you heard me right! My "Nacho Cheese Sauce" contains absolutely no dairy and is completely plant based. The taste is eerily close to the real deal folks. I know the suspense is killing you, so without further ado ... let's begin!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup alkaline water
- 1 cup Raw Cashews (soak in 1 cup alkaline water for 1 hour prior to making)
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 1/4 cup Roasted Red Peppers
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 cup Nutritional Yeast
Directions:
- In a high powered blender (**a quality blender is a must), combine all the ingredients and blend until smooth cheez sauce is achieved. We enjoy the nacho cheese in soups, over nacho chips, macaroni and cheese etc. The sky is the limit!
