It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon to enjoy the day. There is a beautiful place about 15 minutes from my house that has a pond, and at one side there are restaurants.
There are many flowers around the path and pond, these are just a couple of the ones I took.
This pond houses many different animals, and it's cool to see them cohabitating :)
You can find swans.
You can find ducks.
You can find geese.
You can find fish. BIG fish!
We even saw a turtle in the pond!
You can go on paddleboats of different colors and forms. This particular dragon paddleboat got too close to the swans, ducks and geese, and they came towards it because they thought they were going to give food. It was fun to see. (Not fun if you were on the paddleboat...they paddled backward quickly! LOL)
Then we got to see the menu of the Mexican Restaurant we went to. I was unsure of what I wanted. It was either Seafood and Fish, or something From The Grill. Their Mariscada is great! It's more of a soup though, and even though I love seafood, I wanted more meat.
As a drink, I chose Tropico. It's like a strawberry Piña Colada. Virgin, no alcohol. Delicious!
You always get chips and salsa while you wait, and their sauce it's just great!
Then my plate came: Combination Fajitas, Chicken and Steak. Includes Mexican rice and beans (I always want more rice, so choose not to get the beans), and it also comes with tortillas.
Then after our meal, we enjoyed some music that was playing by Bobby & The Believers. It was a great ambience. Some people dancing, others just listening. Here is just a little piece of the fun.
