"Delicious Steemit Salmon Meal"
Ingredients For Rice:
- 2 Cups of white rice
- 4 Cups of water
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp knor chicken broth powder
- 2 Pinches of salt
- 1 Pinch of pepper
- 1 Garlic clove
- 1/4 Green pepper (diced)
- 1/4 Red or orange pepper (diced)
- 1/4 Red onion (diced)
Instructions For Rice: Using a deep pot add olive oil, wait for pot to heat up then add garlic, sauté until garlic, peppers, and onion turns golden, add 4 cups of water, tbsp of knor, salt, and pepper then stir and add rice. Stir everything together, cover with lid on high heat for 15 minutes until water starts to evaporate, then turn heat to low for additional 5 minutes. #tip: do not stir rice until it is fully cooked for better results.
Ingredients to Season Salmon:
- 1 Lb of Salmon
- 1 Tbsp of Olive oil
- 2 Tsp of Salt
- 1 Tsp of Black pepper
- 1 Tsp of Thyme or preferred herbs
- 2 Small Garlic cloves
- 2 Tsp of Lemon pepper
- 2 Limes
- 1 Whole bell pepper (thick sliced)
- 1 Small red onion (thick sliced)
Instructions For Salmon: In a small sheet pan put salmon fillet and make some holes with a fork all around the front part, add one tablespoon of lime juice and let sit for 5 minutes, add olive oil and rub all over the salmon, add the garlic and rub it on both sides , same with the salt, pepper, thyme and lemon pepper. Lastly add the sliced pepper and onion to the sheet pan.
Salmon Should Look Like This
Preheat oven to 375º degrees let salmon marinade meanwhile, bake for 20 minutes.
Ingredients For Herbed Baked Potatoes
- 5 Red potatoes cut into 4 pieces
- 1 Tbsp of oil
- 1 Tsp of thyme or preferred herbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions For Herbed Potatoes: Wash potatoes. In a bowl add potatoes, ingredients, and mix.
Place them on a sheet pan...
and they are ready to be put in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes
