Hello, this is Juno!
Where we live, we don't have to step out too far to enjoy fine Mexican cuisine and entertainment.
It's like stepping into Mexico for real.
So, here are the pictures to take you through the courses:
This is the lobby entrance of the restaurant with an art piece wearing traditional Mexican cloths.
On our way to the table, we were pleasantly greeted by the Maria Chi band serenading a table of customers.
The seating and the interior were classically ornamented.
A starter of salsa with chips and a delicious bean paste is served, upon seating.
These were home made and delicious but we had to save our appetites.
The first dish was called the Tres Mares, a seafood platter that comes with king crab claws.
The seafood is laid above a fried rice.
Then came a course of chicken and shrimp fajita.
The sizzling sound and steam were mouth watering.
The scent of grilled onions, green peppers with shrimp and chicken was irresistible.
Side dishes of guacamole, sour cream and cheese accompanied fried Mexican rice and bean paste, all on a bed of lettuce salad.
The warm Tortilla was served also.
Made the tortilla with grilled veggies and shrimp.
Then Guacamole and sour cream was put on to taste.
The mariachi band showed up while we were enjoying our meals.
They asked if we had any requests. My husband asked for a romantic Mexican song.
The Mariachi singer sang out his heart and soul.
The band posed for the pictures while still singing.
Even for an audience of two, they sang a heartfelt song.
We were happy to tip $20.
The fine foods.
The wonderful Mariachi Band
A perfect dinner out.
