The other day, I overheard a conversation between a mom and her young daughter. The mom asked 'What do you wanna do for breakfast?' The girl answered 'I wanna eat!'. LOL.
Kids are so funny sometimes. But I have to agree with the girl ... of course, we wanna eat for breakfast. When it comes to breakfast, I never ever skip even if I am too busy or in a rush.
I used to live nearby the Calii Love on King Street West in Toronto. It is a Hawaiian/LA inspired food and cafe bar. In my opinion, they offer the most healthy breakfast option for its patrons if you can't make breakfast at home.
I believe that breakfast is the most important meal as it sets the tone for the rest of the day. A healthy smoothie bowl in particular would make a perfect breakfast!
When Calii first opened, I visited and tried their smoothie bowls and latte for breakfast - I called them the breakfast of champions. Not only because they were delicious and healthy, they were also so pretty to look at. In addition, their coffee is very decent! What more can you ask for?!
I am so impressed that, nowadays, it is relatively easy to eat healthy when you are out and about. Places like Calii are popping up everywhere in Toronto as there is a demand for clean eating. I hope the trend continues and we all stay healthy!
