As we continue with "Kid-Friendly Halloween Week", we've done the traditional pumpkin carving already (and dropped the seeds all over the floor just short of getting into the oven - but that's another story), basic house decorating, and fun cookie making... All the things we do as kids, then grow out of until we have kids of our own.
Tonight we continued with our pre-Halloween themed activities and baked our next batch of cookies. Just like the ghost cookies before, we have ready-to-bake pumpkin cookies from Pillsbury.
For whatever reason these cookies were softer and had a better flavor than the ghost ones - go figure.
Packed and Stacked ready-to-bake!
Cookies in the Oven - once the soften I flatten with a fork.
Instructions call for 350, but 335 does the trick without burning the bottoms.
Our Delicious Pumpkin Face Cookies.
