It was a cold winter this year. My son was really excited to see his grandma, he been waiting for this moment to be with his "Babo" We had a wonderful time together last Christmas that's why today, I would like to share another Bulgarian traditional food. It's called "BANITSA" TADAAAANNNNN!!!
Banitsa is very popular a famous traditional food in Bulgaria. You can buy in any store. They serve it in any occasion, Christmas, birthdays, New year, it's like a whole year around food. They love to eat bread as much as I like to eat rice lol. Every Babo loves to make homemade "BANITSA". When we woke up in the morning, there was Banitsa,more banitsa in the afternoon, dinner and midnight snack and again repeat hahaha. Banitsaaaaaaa is life mga friendship LOLS lakas makataba hahaha
They have different kind of Banitsa, sweet and salty. Banitsa can be suitable also for vegetarian/vegan. I'm telling you, homemade is the best, yummy, crunchy and cheesy!!!! Mamo can make really a nice yummy Banitsa.

INGREDIENTS
Home made dough
Sirene or Feta Cheese
Eggs
Leak or spinach
Spread the cheese, spinach and eggs
How To Make Banitsa
1.Make a dough, imagine you are going to make a big pizza! haha
2. Put the feta cheese/serena on the dough
3. Put egg, then spread the leak or spinach
4. Roll it and arrange it in a big baking pan
5. Add cheese on top (optional)
6. Bake it in the oven 30-45 mins 250- 300 C
Ohhh I'm so hungry right now:) Who wants Banitsa???
