Guilt-free? I heard you say, how can double chocolate chip cookies be guilt free? Well there two ways, 1. By no giving a dam about caloric intakes and 2. By making them delicious Kelp double chocolate chip cookies…
What you will need..
• 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 1/2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/3 cup applesauce
• 1/3 cup finely chopped kale
• 1/3 cup white sugar
• 1 tablespoon butter, softened
• 2 tablespoons dark chocolate chips (optional)
• 1 egg white
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 tablespoon canola oil
• 1 teaspoon honey
Now to the Baking..
Before you do anything make sure to preheat your to 165 Degrees C or 325 Degrees F
In a large bowl sieve in the Flour, Cocoa Powder and Baking soda and mix
Next in a blender blend in the Apple Sauce and Kale (feel free to add a tsp. Of water if needed) until creamy
In another bowl combine the Sugar, Butter, Egg White, Kale mixture and Vanilla and whisk until creamy then stir in the Canola Oil and Honey
Now slowly stir in the flour mixture until a dough is formed and add the Chocolate Chips
On a baking tray, spread out a baking sheet and using a large spoon form dollops of the dough mixture evenly spread out
Use the back of a spoon lightly press the top of the cookie dollops until lightly flattened
Bake the cookies in the oven for 10 -15 minutes
