A borscht recipe that uses duck instead of meat.
You will need:
- duck - 1 PC;
- beets - 2 PCs;
- onions-1 PC
- carrots - 1 PC;
- potatoes - 2 PCs;
- cabbage - ⅓ head;
- tomato jam – ;
- garlic-4 cloves;
mustard — 1 tbsp;
– horseradish — 1 tbsp; - olives - 1 Bank;
– tomatoes in own. juice;
– parsley;
– dill;
– sour cream; - lemon - 1 PC;
– vegetable oil;
– Sol.
How to cook: first make the broth on the duck by adding onions, carrots and Bay leaf. When it is ready, take out all the ingredients. Pour the potatoes cut into the broth and bring to a boil on a small fire, then put the chopped cabbage and continue cooking. In a frying pan in vegetable oil, fry onions and carrots and add to the borsch. On a separate pan to bring grated beet with lemon juice. When the vegetables are ready, put in borscht duck meat, tomatoes in their own juice (pre-cut them into cubes and add 3 tbsp. tomato juice), mustard, horseradish, crushed garlic cloves, salt, tomato jam (or sugar). Leave the soup to infuse on low heat, last but not least sprinkle with crushed herbs.
