The other day I have delivered a walk in Kokubunji, Tokyo. The "Otakanomichi" in Kokubunji is a promenade that originated from the fact that it was designated as the hawk field of the Owari Tokugawa family in the Edo period.
When you are walking around this promenade, you will see a fancy house cafe.
That cafe is 「Otacafe」 which is named after "Otakanomichi" and "Cafe". "Otacafe" exists as if it melts into nature that does not seem to be in Tokyo. Otacafe takes care of hospitality as a "town station", sending out information on historic sites and selling tickets at Musashi Kokubunji ruins museum.

先日から国分寺の散歩の様子をお届けしております。国分寺にあるお鷹の道は江戸時代に尾張徳川家の鷹場に指定されていたことに由来している遊歩道です。この遊歩道を散策しているとお洒落な一軒家カフェが目に止まります。
「おたかの道」と「カフェ」から名づけられた「おたカフェ」。東京とは思えない自然の中に溶け込むかのように存在している「おたカフェ」はおもてなしを大事にした「まちの駅」として史跡地域の情報発信、武蔵国分寺跡資料館のチケットの販売などを行っております。
