Ingredients of Smoked Chicken, Whisky & Pearl Barley Salad
250 gm smoked chicken, cubed
1 cup pearl barley
1/2 cup whisky
2 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp chopped garlic
1 cup sprouts
1/2 cup pomegranate
1/2 cup chopped cucumber
2 Tbsp chopped parsley
How to Make Smoked Chicken, Whiskey and Pearl John Salad
Fill one saucepan 2 cups of water and bring it to boil. Add pearl barley and cook on medium sized for 20 minutes, until it is thick and not creamed. Remove excess water and keep aside.
Heat the butter in a pan and add chopped garlic. Put 1-2 minutes on a medium flame and then mix whiskey and cooked pearl barley. As long as there is no steam of alcohol, apply salt as per taste and remove the flame.
In a pan, lightly slice the chicken cubes with a little oil for 2-3 minutes. Remove from the fire
Add a mixture of pearl barley, smoked chicken and the remaining ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Check spices and add more panels if needed, immediately service
