My mama is my other bestie, of course, she's the bestie I had for the longest time. It's really amazing to have your mother as your best friend. Perhaps, some people find it difficult but for me it's the best thing!
I grew up having an open communication in the family. Of course, there might be some secrets but they're pretty rare.In our family, it's pretty normal to sit down together and talk. What's great is that my parents are open-minded. They don't judge you for the things that you say or do, but they try to listen first. They also give you an honest opinion when needed.
Having stated that my mama is my bestie, we also do things that are usually done with "besties". And that is... "FOODTRIP!" and shopping! (lol) Well, as for the shopping part, I'm like my papa sometimes... we just sit around while mama does her stuff. hahaha
Anyway, a couple days ago, I and my mama went out. Well, we invited papa over but he refused because he was feeling lazy to go out. xD So mama and I carried on with our plans. We went to shop some personal stuff and I bought her an early gift. Something she could wear on her birthday next month. It really suits her. Of course, when you go out food is always a part of it.
It was still around 4pm, so we decided to have some heavy snacks. Food is life!
We decided to go to Manila Foodshoppe. They serve really good food, but it was our first time to try their meat buns. So we decided to order it.
Look at those fluffy-looking buns! It's asado flavor. Each bun costs Php37 or $0.73... It's cheap, but very delicious. Yummy~!!!
As for the drinks, my mom ordered mango shake. This mango shake costs Php65 or $1.28. My mom commented that it's worth its price.
As for me, I ordered a hot Calamansi juice for Php45 or $0.89. Of course, I wanted to have shake too. However, I still have cough, so it's not a good choice for me to have any type of shake. huhuhu~ Oh well, the Calamansi juice was also delish, so it doesn't matter.
