Yakiniku きにく (焼肉)
What is it?
Yakiniku comes from Japan, Yaki=Grilled Nike=Meat it literally means "Grilled Meat"
If you've ever eaten Korean BBQ it's essentially the same thing, except I like Yakiniku more that I like my Korean BBQ.
The story of my first Yakiniku experience
In the summer of 2015 I was in Japan, and while standing on the train I saw a sign with what I considered the "most beautiful" looking pieces of meat I'd ever seen.
The next day my friend and her family took me out to eat Yakiniku, and let me say it was the best thing ever. At the specific location were went to there were two choices, all-you-can-eat or to order each piece. We decided to go with the all-you-can-eat, and let me tell you I took advantage of it. They give you a few different sauces to use, but the meat itself was great. I'm talking about melt in your mouth sensation. Since returning to America I haven't had the chance to eat Yakiniku again, but if you find yourself going to Japan or have a Yakiniku place around you It's definitely the first thing I recommend to people.
