Hi, my name is Tracey, from Botswana in Southern Africa, currently living in Tokyo, Japan.
Since living away from home for quite a few years, I try to maintain my connection with home through food. Here in Japan, I teach people how to cook food from my home country, and as I spent more and more time thinking of the different dishes I would make, I realised that my knowledge of the foods and ingredients was quite limited. A sad realisation, but one that opens up a new opportunity for me to discover different things about Botswana, and the surrounding countries.
This dish is Seswaa with pap and morogo, a Botswana favourite.
So, I'm here to share that journey of discovery with the Steemit community and hopefully get people interested in Southern African cuisine!
