
This will be my dinner tonight. Its called Broccoli. Personally, I like eating it just after steaming to give it a good taste and still retain the greenish colour. Cooking it for a longer time changes its colour to brown, which I dont like.
While checking its health benefits online;
I gathered that it is low in calories, contains essential vitamins and minerals as well as fibers. Steaming has been a way to preserve the nutrients as noted.
I am a fan of Broccoli and I will like to try to eat it in all forms that it can be prepared while preserving the nutrients.
