The food I'm going to introduce us to today are the most commonly prepared and popular food in Nigeria.
The two most popular foods in Africa are Rice and garri( otherwise know as Eba)
There are different rice recipes in Africa . We have the jelof rice, this is
the easiest to prepare, we can also boiled white rice that is eaten with stew.
Garri know as Eba is a very popular food in Nigeria, eba and fufu goes with soup ( there are various soup range from different part of the country, for example the egusi soup,
, vegetable soup and alot of them) as a common denominator, Nigerian eba and fufu are both end products of cassava. A Nigerian man from the eastern part of the country would prefer fufu or pounded yam, while the westerners (the yorubas) would go for eba or amala.
Nigeria fufu undergoes several processes before it is eaten as food. The cassava is peeled and fermented for four to five days then sieved to obtain the raw soft fufu which would then be cooked and pounded for consumption.
