TASTY CHEESE SHORTBREAD
Ingredients
Dough:
230g cold butter
140g Cheddar cheese
100g Romano or Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp fresh rosemary
2 1/2 cups flour plain
1 tsp salt
1 tsp smoked paprika
1c pecans or hazelnuts
RECIPE'S PREPARATION
Grate Parmesan, cheddar and rosemary 10 secs sp 9. Set aside.
Mill nuts 10 secs sp9. Add all other ingredients in order given including cheese mixture.
Knead together 40 secs on Interval speed until it comes together (may need another 10-20 secs)
Remove on to Thermo mat and divide in two . Create logs with mixture and wrap in plastic wrap. chill overnight.
Next day cut 1/4" slices and bake at 150C until light brown.
