Today we learn to make Crispy Corn Recipe. It's a evening snack.
Ingredients
2 Cups Sweet Corn
4 Spoon Cornflour
1/2 Spoon Roasted Cumin Powder
1/2 Spoon Red Chilli Powder
1 Spoon Chopped Spring Onion's Green Portion
1/2 Spoon Chaat Masala
1/2 Spoon Lemon Juice
Salt to Taste
Oil
Method
Boil some water & add some salt. Drop in the sweet corn & boil the sweet corn over medium to high flame for 2 minutes. Do not overcook the corn because we also fry it as well.
Now, using a sieve drain to remove excess water & let them cool down.
When corn come to room temperature, add 4 spoon cornflour, add little salt & mix it well.
Heat some oil in a pan. First, drop one corn to check it the oil is ready or not. When corn starts to bubble & comes to the surface that means the oil is ready.
Now, drop sweet corns & fry these on medium to high flame for 3 minutes or till these become crisp. Do flip these in between.
When corns have become crispy, shake of the excess oil & take this out on a paper towel.
For the seasoning, Take a small bowl & add 1/2 spoon red chili powder, 1/2 spoon chaat masala, 1/2 spoon roasted cumin powder & little salt. Mix it well.
Add 1/2 spoon lemon juice in fried crispy corn & mix it. Now, add the seasoning which we had prepared. Also, add chopped spring onion's green portion & mix it well.
