I'm not sure if you can find these type of snacks around the world, but it is a very 'Asian' type of snack especially in SE Asia regions like Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand where squid, salted fish dried snacks are popular. These snacks are not cheap and you may usually find them on occasions or festivals such as Chinese New Year. The dried cuttlefish snacks are one of my favourites and always well seasoned. It is usually seasoned with sugar or sometimes a little spice. I love the chewiness of it and how addictive it can get. The only problem I have with these snacks is that I can't stop eating them and this would usually lead to sore throat. So remember to drink lots of water after munching down on them.
If you do go to countries like Singapore or Malaysia, be on a look out for these snacks as I'm pretty sure you will not get it anywhere else. Edibee is one of the famous premium brand that will never go wrong. It is a franchise and they have some higher quality dried snacks. I tried their fried fish crackers this time too and it was really good. Altogether for the 4 packs of 100gram dried fishes, I spent about RM80 (approx. 20usd) which is mid tier pricing. These snacks are good on the go or when you're planning on binge watching on netflix on a chill weekend, either ways you HAVE to try it.
