The white radish served in this dish is actually the highlight as it takes on the overall taste through soaking itself and absorbing the juices of the stew. It has a very high water retention and is also quite soft.
Staff here are actually very friendly and there is a secret menu where you'll need to ask for the "Chinese" menu to see these dishes. Most westerners will step in and be handed the standard menu with all the usual suspects of "Chinese" food crafted for the uninitiated, but surprisingly, the Chinese menu has a good choice of food, and is definitely the one you want.
